It’s Spring, and the girls represented the season well in their happy little outfits!  Love that mom wanted some flowery/Easter type shots  🙂  Hayden was such a great big sister…she really tried to get Hailey to sit still for her sibling shots (well, she did her best, LOL)!  Hailey was on the go  🙂  She was ready to explore, and basically wanted to taste everything (that’s what teething babies do, right?).  I just loved her adorable facial expressions and mischievous looks once she crawled off the backdrop.  Hailey was a joy to work with (as was big sis, Hayden), and she did an amazing job with her multiple outfit changes (all of which were just as cute as she was).  It was great seeing you all again, Mom and Dad!  Looking forward to our next shoot with all of you.

When Mom unveiled her precious cargo, I couldn’t help but gush over “R”‘s hair!  I loved everything about it.  It had so much character (and it brought me back to the 80’s…I think I had that hairstyle, but I needed a ton of gel to hold it up). I didn’t want to cover up that fabulous hair with hats, so we put little headbands on instead.  Don’t you just want to reach out into your screen and touch that hair?!  She also had the cutest cheeks, and red pouty lips.  “R” decided about halfway through, that she wanted to keep her eyes open and explore the studio.  Although she was awake, she remained calm…so we got a lot of shots of her with her eyes open (sometimes this isn’t very easy, because awake newborns often = hungry, upset and/or flailing newborns).  Mom, it was great seeing you again!  Hopefully, we’ll see “B” and “A” during one of “R”‘s upcoming shoots (click HERE to see a previous shoot with “A” and “B”).  Thanks for coming out to see us!  Congratulations  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

One year already?  I still remember Kenzie as a newborn…with that beautiful head of dark hair!  Click HERE to see Kenzie’s newborn shoot.  The last time we saw Kenzie was about 6 months ago, and she was a smiley little one!  Fast-forward 6 months later, and she’s still smiling up a storm (but now she’s literally running across our backdrop!).  It didn’t take much to make her smile, just like her big brother, Aiden!  So many smiley photos to choose from–it was so hard to narrow them down for your sneak peek  🙂  Just looking at your photos makes me smile right back at the computer screen 😉  Happy birthday, Kenzie!  Here’s your sneak peek:

It’s been a year since we last photographed Eli, and just look at how much he’s grown! Click HERE to see Eli’s newborn shoot.  Little Eli was “cautiously curious”.  I loved how his eyes surveyed the area around him…the grass, the people, the toys…so much to take in.  I thought it was adorable how he bit his lower lip as he looked at us! Eli was happiest with Dad and Mom, he obviously knows how much they love him.  What a glorious smile  🙂  It was great seeing you, Eli!  Soon, you’ll be running around…exploring on your own. You are going to have a blast!  Here’s your sneak peek:

She flashed her new pearly white tooth for us…and we loved it!  The last time we saw little Kaci, she was a newborn (click HERE for her newborn shoot). Almost 7 months later, she was a laughing, crawling, interactive angel, with so many adorable facial expressions!  You can almost read her mind when she’s looking at you in that basket.  Oh those eyes…windows to her feelings and soul.  Thank you so very much for being flexible with your schedule, Mom and Dad (we originally had her scheduled for the afternoon of the huge water main break…we had to reschedule her because we were stuck on the freeway in that traffic for over 5 hours).  It was so wonderful seeing Kaci again.  The next time we see her, she will undoubtably be running!  😉    Here’s your sneak peek:

Meet our first little newborn for 2017!  Anabelle (love that name!) was absolutely adorable. She had beautiful red lips, and the sweetest cheeks. She also gave us a couple of fabulous smiles. How lucky were we?!  She slept like a champ for the first half of her shoot, then decided that she wanted to see the world for the second half.  Just look at those amazing eyes!  So focused and bright…they were like two shining stars.  Mom, I think she knows how much you like taking photos!!! What a little star  🙂  It was great seeing you again, Mom!  Congratulations on your angel…she was precious. Hugs!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Happy 2017, everyone!  We took a little internet break for the past month or so (but we’ve been busy doing shoots…so I have a lot to post).  I wanted to start this year with a great family  🙂  I’ve known Mom since 6th grade…and we’ve shared many great memories over the years.  Years later, we both have families!  Wow, time really flies by. Tevin and Lindsey were so easy to work with (mellow, just like Mom and Dad).  They quietly took directions, but had a sense of humor at the same time  😉  Love the silly faces, shakas, and dabbing (thanks Lindsey!).  Thanks for making my job so incredibly easy!!!  It was a beautiful afternoon at the beach, and I loved seeing all of you again  🙂  Hope you enjoyed your vacation!  Here’s to more wonderful memories…in the next generation!  Here’s your sneak peek:

What glorious names for two beautiful little angels…Hope and Valor.  They were joined by their equally sweet big sister, Aurora (love that name too!)  Valor and Hope arrived to our shoot nestled in their car seats.  They looked so peaceful, I hoped they would stay that way for their shoot. They did  🙂    Aurora couldn’t wait to put on her “Princess Dress” for us.  She was so bright and inquisitive, and so patient with her new brother and sister. It’s not often that a two year old will cradle two newborns in their arms and pose for us. Great job, Aurora!  Hope and Valor were equally patient with each other. One slept peacefully while we did individual shots of the other. They were quite snuggly, and naturally fell asleep when we did our “together” shots.  I loved it all…tiny fingers and toes, adorable noses and lips. Precious!  Congratulations, Mom, Dad and Aurora!  Welcome to the world, little Valor and Hope  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

Happy Birthday, little Alena!  Same adorable, smiling face…just on a mobile toddler now  🙂  Click HERE to see Alena’s previous shoot with us.  Don’t you just want to hug her and pinch her little cheeks?  Love that she has those two front teeth too!  We started off with some pretty harsh lighting, but eventually ended up in an area with beautiful tree covering. I love how Cash’s trademark hair blew in the gently in the wind…and just look at how much Ezrah’s grown in two years (not to mention, he’s now sporting facial hair…so grown up!).  Click HERE to see their previous family shoot with us.  Alena loved her tree stump.  That was her throne, and she REALLY liked it (and really didn’t want anyone else on it, LOL!).  I don’t think we could have asked for a happier child. I still can’t get over that adorable smile!  Lots more smiles in your proofing gallery, Mom and Dad.  It was great seeing all of you again!  Congratulations on turning one, Alena!!!  Here’s your sneak peek:

We just couldn’t wait to see Dad’s masterpiece!  The amazing stand was visualized (and tinted) by Mom, and constructed by Dad.  I saw texts of it on Mom and Dad’s phone, and I was stunned.  This family literally outdoes itself every year!  Click HERE to see their 2015 holiday shoot.  Next year, I’m expecting Santa’s sleigh and real snow, LOL!  Emma and Zoey were adorable (I love their little interactions!)…and of course, the promise of candy canes and chocolate milk after the shoot was over was a huge motivator  😉  The girls had a blast making their own “Hot Cocoa”, complete with mini-marshmallows and cinnamon (yes, everything was real and edible…leave it to Mom!). Even Emma and Zoey’s “fur-sister” Apple did a great job!  I am astounded by what Mom and Dad come up with, and I look forward to spending time with one of my favorite families every holiday season.  Thank you, Mom and Dad, for being so invested, creative and patient…the girls were fantastic!  Here’s your sneak peek:
