Baby E was absolutely precious. She had beautiful skin, and a heart-warming smile (that she flashed for us on a couple of occasions!). I loved the contrast of her dark hair against her skin, and her pout was the cutest. I loved the knitted animals that mom brought in for Baby E’s shoot…the colors worked perfectly with our color scheme. Thank you, Mom! Congratulations on your little sweetie…she did an amazing job throughout the shoot. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. It was great meeting you and Baby E! Here’s your sneak peek:

We are currently scheduling for our 2019 Holiday Shoots. Slots are limited (particularly weekend, outdoor slots), and are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thank you for all for your continued support 🙂
We had a bout of windy, rainy weather around the time of poor Nicole’s shoot. It would be perfect during the week, but as soon as the weekend rolled around…clouds, wind, rain… After a few shoot reschedules due to the inclement weather, we finally decided to just do our shoot (despite the wind…at least it wasn’t raining, and the ground wasn’t wet). Deuce and Mom joined us initially. Deuce was a fun loving furbaby in an extra large size. Once he started moving, nothing stood in his way (I got bowled over in the process a couple of times!). I swear he was smiling in the majority of his photos, and I don’t believe he knew his own size…he wanted to sit on poor Nicole’s lap. Just adorable.
Nicole wanted to incorporate some yoga into her shoot. I loved the idea, and we headed out towards the beach. I have absolutely no clue about anything having to do with yoga, but Nicole looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved her lines and flexibility. A perfect mix of power and grace. Our final photos took place in a beach access walkway. There were quite a few words painted on that wall…some of them were less than desirable (and I had to make sure they didn’t appear in her photos). Nicole picked “FEAR”. I love how her strength contrasted with the FEAR behind her. Nicole, Mom and Deuce you were all amazing! I’m so glad the weather finally decided to cooperate with us for a couple of hours. We were looking forward to seeing David and Noah for this year’s shoot! Click HERE for their 2016 shoot. Two little boys, so full of action and ready to PLAY! We did our last two shoots at the beach, so this time around, we had our shoot at a park. David is always so easy to work with. He is articulate, gentle and wise beyond his years. Noah was Mr. Personality 😉 He was smiling and really hamming it up for us. What a great combination! I love this age, because kids are so full of energy. I just don’t know where they get it from. Most of our shots were relatively spontaneous, taken as the boys explored the open field and trees. David and Noah were looking for a pond…next time, boys! We will be ready for you and your fish nets 🙂 Thanks for a great time, Mom and Dad! It was nice to see all of you again 🙂 Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Here’s your sneak peek:

We are fully booked through the end of 2017, and are currently scheduling for 2018. Thank you for all of your support!
I felt concerned as headed out to our morning shoot. The rain was hitting my windshield, and the sky was a dark grey. Luckily, we chose a location that was somewhat shielded from the rain…so we kept our session. I was looking forward to seeing Renyn and Lauryn. They are one of my favorite “brother/sister” siblings, because they are so loving! I never have to ask them to pose, they just naturally interact with each other. It was great to see Tiger again this year as well! I haven’t seen Tiger for a couple of years now, but he looked exactly the same 🙂 Even Tiger seemed ready for the family shoot! I’m so glad that our schedules worked out again this year, Mom and Dad! Renyn and Lauryn, you both did an amazing job!!! Click here to see our 2016 shoot. My year would not be complete without seeing all of you 🙂 Here’s your sneak peek:

Another rain out shoot for us (you’ll see quite a few, because we had to make some major schedule adjustments due to Hurricane Ana)…although technically, it wasn’t a rainout because Mom decided to do an switch her shoot from an outdoor to an indoor shoot (thanks, Mom!). Tyler really is one of the sweetest, gentlest little boys we’ve had the honor of photographing. He has always taken instruction easily, and never complains as we move swiftly from prop to prop. He doesn’t require any “warm up” period, and basically, is a dream to work with. Click HERE to see Tyler’s 2013 shoot. Mom and Dad, you are definitely doing something right with Tyler…he is a wonderful little boy with a soft and loving soul. Thank you for driving out and bringing all of those “Thomas” props with you (who would have guessed that you would one day know the names of every single steam engine in the Thomas collection?). We were greeted by the clapping of thunder as we pulled into the parking lot. The sky looked ominous, and we were definitely afraid that we were going to have to reschedule our shoot. We decided to give it a try and get in as many shots as we could before the rain. As their SUV doors opened, out popped two of the sweetest siblings we’ve photographed to date. Brooke and Troy’s smiles literally lit up our afternoon 🙂 It’s rare that we have siblings that get along as well as Brooke and Troy do. The shoot was filled with hand holding, hugging and laughing. Mom and Dad, if you could somehow bottle that sibling love and sell it, you’d be rich! Loved that Mom and Dad brought props (flowers and the heart balloon) to our shoot…it really shows that they were invested in their shoot. Brooke and Troy, I hope you were able to collect a million pinecones after our shoot…if not, you can visit us anytime (we have tons in our “backyard”)! It was only last month that we saw little Mikey (click HERE to see his previous shoot with us), but this shoot was special. This shoot included Grandma and Grandpa…and Mikey was thrilled! He gave us a ton of smiles (thanks to Grandma’s sweet demeanor, Grandpa’s couch cushion “balancing” act, and Mommy’s rendition of the “Shake, Shake, the Mango Tree” dance). I was SO jealous that I couldn’t turn around to see everyone in action! Edson said he was worried that I was going to ask him to do the Mango Tree dance when Mom went into the photo…apparently, Mom’s dance was quite impressive, and Edson’s version would pale in comparison. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for sharing your beautiful house with us. Despite the heat, humidity and brightness of the day, you were all incredible to work with! I can’t wait to do a morning shoot at your house 🙂 Here’s your sneak peek:

We look forward to seeing this wonderful family every year…this is our 5 year anniversary! I can’t believe how fast time flies. Click HERE for their previous shoot. Jansen, Jalen and Jorel have all grown up (I can’t believe that Jalen was Jorel’s age at our first shoot, and Jansen was Jalen’s age!). We were also introduced to a new, absolutely adorable member of the family…Jasper! Jasper, you couldn’t have been born into a more amazing family. Your Mommy and Daddy did an amazing job with your brothers and sister, and now you have an entire family to love and care for you. Lucky little guy 🙂 The day started off wet and overcast, and we had to change our location at the last minute because it was too wet to shoot on our side of the island. We ended up with a great “second-choice” location (and we even got to see a pig family cross the road in front of our car…Edson was driving, I was shooting…of course!). Mom and Dad, thanks for being so flexible! It’s always wonderful to see Jansen, Jalen and Jorel (my “little ham”), and it was a pleasure meeting little Jasper. Congratulations, again!
