I can’t believe it’s been two years since we first met little Evan at his newborn shoot. Eli, of course, was a pro at photo shoots (he had his newborn shoot 5 years ago). There’s nothing better than seeing brothers playing and laughing together! Apparently, big brother Eli was REALLY funny…just look at the way Evan reacts to him! Thanks for being such a big help, Eli! Evan, there were so many wonderful photos of you with the biggest smile, it was very hard to choose my photos for this sneak peek.

I enjoyed doing our shoot at this “retro” playground. I haven’t seen playground equipment like that in decades…it brought back fond memories of my childhood. I loved the rocket ship, and so did the boys 🙂 Thanks for an exciting day at the park, Mom and Dad! Here’s your sneak peek:

Happy 1st birthday, E!  Our current situation unfortunately did not allow for a huge birthday celebration, but that didn’t stop her from flashing us the biggest smile!  Loved her cute little birthday outfit.  I also really liked that “1” birthday balloon and that big white balloon!  Thanks for bringing those to our session, Mom and Dad!  I can’t believe that she is running around and exploring.  Didn’t we just do her newborn and 4 month shoot?!  Time flies, especially when you’re spending it with such a delightful little one.  Thank you for being so easy to work with! Little Conner was the third sibling in his family to do a newborn shoot with us!  It seems like we just did Kaycie’s shoot (click HERE to see her newborn shoot). We also did Cameron’s shoot about 4 years ago (click HERE to see Cameron’s newborn shoot).  Mom and Dad, you must be doing something right, because all three of your children were smilers!  Conner had the same jet black hair that his brother and sister had, and his little fingers and toes were just adorable.  He was very awake for the first half of his shoot, but he settled down for the rest of his photos…he made the CUTEST dinosaur!  There’s just something about seeing a little one all curled up and sleeping peacefully.  I hope he was a sound sleeper when he got home for you, Mom and Dad!  Thanks for sharing Conner, Cameron and  Kaycie with us!  Congratulations to your newest addition.  He is a precious one!  Here is your sneak peek:

One of our favorite families is back!  Click HERE to see their previous shoot with us.  We scheduled their shoot a little later than we typically do, because we waited for Jalen’s school break.  When Jorel (“Little Ham”) got out of the car, I had to look twice.  Not only was he taller than me, but his hair was just stunning.  Where did all of that hair come from?!  I can’t call you “Little Ham” anymore…you’re all grown up! Jansen and Jalen brought their smiles and hilarious sense of humor (this is what makes this family so special to us), and Jasper lost his two front teeth!  Where did the time go?   As always, we had a fun and fast moving shoot.  Everyone is always so easy to work with!  Jasper was fully of happy smiles (I think he wanted to show off his missing teeth, LOL!), and the sense of “family” just made everything so right.  Thank you for coming back to us every year, Mom and Dad!  This was technically our 10th annual shoot with you!  Click HERE to see their first shoot with us. It’s been a wonderful decade together!  May your 2020 bring you even more amazing memories  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

We were so happy for R!  It was just over two years ago that we did his newborn shoot, and now it’s his new baby brother’s turn.  Click HERE to see R’s newborn shoot. We couldn’t wait to meet little B.  He was just as charming as his big brother.  B had the tiniest little fingers, and the cutest pouty lips.  He liked to stretch his arms and legs out while he was awake, so we did a bit of swaddling during the shoot.  Once he was asleep, he was out.  Such a little angel…those angel wings were the perfect prop for B.  Mom and Dad, it was great seeing you all again.  So glad we were able to schedule your shoot!  Congratulations!!!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Another one of our favorite families!  Every year, I look forward to seeing Adri and Brynne in their cute outfits.  Click HERE to see their 2018 photo shoot.  I remember the poofy little dresses and shiny shoes…now the girls are so grown up!  This year they were exuding kiddie elegance. Our shoot definitely did not start off as planned.  They completely shut down the road in both directions, so we were unable to reach our destination.  After a flurry of phone calls and texts (don’t worry, Edson was driving), we decided on an alternate location.  Luckily, we found an even better spot!  The lighting was beautiful, and we didn’t have to fight with anyone for our shots (so I don’t have to Photoshop out  people from the background of their photos!).  Alex and Matty were amazing!  Click HERE for their 2018 shoot.  They seemed to be having fun running around, and they seemed to shine in the afternoon light.  Thanks for being so patient and flexible, Mom and Dad!  It actually worked in our favor  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

Mila was a bundle of adorable personality!  She was so happy and friendly, and skipped from tree to tree in excitement.  I don’t think I ever asked Mila to pose for me, I just followed her around the forest and took photos of her when she smiled at me.  The lighting was beautiful that afternoon, and it just emphasized her joy.  DJ (her furry brother) also did an amazing job, despite the numerous distractions.  I’ll post her 2018 photo shoot in a future post so you can see how much she’s grown over the past year.  Same adorable smile, just a year older!  In the meantime, you can click HERE for her 2017 photo shoot with us.  Mom and Dad, it was another fun and beautiful photo shoot with all of you.  Thanks for always being so easy to work with…we love you!  Here’s your sneak peek:
