Our Ethan is a big brother!  We did Ethan’s newborn shoot 2 years ago (click HERE to see Ethan’s newborn shoot), and he was amazing.  I remember asking Mom what her secret was, because Ethan slept soundly for his entire shoot.  We affectionately called him “Hat Boy”, because we put hat after hat on him, and he didn’t bat an eye.  Well, little bro Caleb was EXACTLY like his big brother.  Caleb was also a sleepy little angel.  We did some of our most challenging prop shots (hot air balloon and hanging shot), and he slept through it all! Mom and Dad, your boys did a wonderful job!  I still don’t understand how we were so blessed to have your calm little guys for their newborn shoots…but we’re definitely not complaining  🙂  It was great seeing you all again, and congratulations!!!  Here’s your sneak peek:

We are fully booked for 2016.  We are currently still accepting newborn shoot inquiries, as well as shoot inquiries for 2017.  We will resume our regular shoot schedule in January 2017.  Thank you 🙂

Look how much Emily has grown in a year! The last time was saw Emily and her family was a year ago (click HERE to see Emily’s newborn shoot).  Fast forward a year, and we had a happy, active, talking one-year old!  Loved Emily’s pretty dresses and cute little shoes.  She liked our props, but especially loved running outdoors on the grass…how big is that smile?!  I think it’s the cool breeze and open grass…freedom!  Mom and Dad, it was great seeing all of you again!  Thanks for being so easy-going and flexible with your schedule. Our outdoor photo shoots slots are completely full for 2016.  We do still have some indoor (studio) shoot slots available (including newborn shoots).  We will resume our outdoor shoots in January 2017.  Thank you 🙂

Ace and Cruz were ready for their shoot.  In fact, Cruz started smiling in the driveway…before he even got into the studio!  Lucky for us, he was full of smiles, so it was just a hint of what was to come.  Ace was a sweet, sleepy little guy. He was so calm, and tolerated having his brother leaning on him quite well (for our twin shots). The boys were incredibly easy to work with (I think that came from Mom and Dad, because they were equally calm and patient). While we shot individuals of one brother, the other brother waited patiently for his turn. I don’t remember having any crying at all during our shoot…just two sleepy angels.  Ace and Cruz, you did an amazing job!  Thank you for all of the adorable smiles  🙂  Mom and Dad, it was great meeting you.  The boys were so cute in their “Hulkamania-Champ” onesies!  Thank you for coming out to see us…I’m so glad our schedules worked out. We hope that you had a safe flight home, and that everyone is doing well!!!  Here’s your sneak peek:

We are officially into our holiday season shoots. The next couple of months will be a whirlwind for us, but as always, we are so incredibly grateful to our clients…both returning and new.  This family has been with us for almost 7 years now.  We’ve enjoyed seeing Adri and Brynne grow over the years…from little girls that couldn’t sit up, to the beautiful young ladies we have today  🙂 Click HERE to see our 2015 shoot.  Just look at those smiles, they are (of course), seasoned pros with us.  I always look forward to seeing the true definition of “sisterhood”.  Adri and Brynne epitomize the very special relationship that sisters possess, and I smile every year when I go through their proofs. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mom and Dad, for coming back to us year after year.  We love you all!  Next beach shoot, I will bring my long lens, and we can do some “action” shots in the water.  You have a year to perfect your body boarding techniques!  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

P.S.  We are now scheduling for holiday shoots.  Please contact me if you are interested in scheduling a shoot with us for your holiday cards.  Shoot slots are limited (in particular, the outdoor afternoon weekend slots), and are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis.  We will be scheduling shoots through the end of October, and will use November for rain-out, sick client make up shoots only.

It’s been almost a year since we saw Dylan for his 9 month shoot, and boy did he grow (click HERE to see Dylan’s previous shoot)!  Same expressive eyes, same awesome hair, just on a toddler now.  Dylan started off our shoot on a cautious tone.  He hid behind Mom and peeked out from behind her to see if we were still there.  It didn’t take him long to warm up, and soon, he was running around like a typical toddler.  His eyes lit up when he saw the jungle gym, and he was off!!!  Loved his happy laughter and squeals as he slid down the slide.  Adorable!  My favorite part of the shoot was when Dylan motioned that he wanted a flower from a nearby tree.  Mom picked it for him, and he held it up to sniff it.  When he was done smelling the flower, he attempted to put it back on the tree…how cute is he?!  It was great seeing all of you again…especially big brother, Daniel!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Emi was a fashionista!  She wore some of my favorite outfits to her 6-month shoot (click HERE to see her newborn shoot).  I especially loved the black outfit with colorful print. So much fun!  Big brother, Tyler, came with his famously sweet smile.  He’s a pro at smiling for us…and he had his birth through one year experience with us as well.  Emi and Tyler had the same happy smile, the type of smile that lights up their entire face  🙂  Emi loved touching her big brother, how cute are they together?!  Thanks for coming out for your shoot, Mom and Dad!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Remember Kenzie’s beautiful head of hair that she showcased during her newborn shoot (click HERE for Kenzie’s newborn shoot)?  Well, she it was even more luxurious 6 months later!  Kenzie’s hair curled softly around her happy little smiling face.  She laughed, and flashed an award winning smile for all of us.  Her big brother, Aiden, was a great help.  He prided himself in being able to make his baby sister smile  🙂  So sweet.  Thank you, Mom and Dad, for asking us to capture Kenzie’s 6-month milestone.  Before you know it, you are going to be braiding that amazing hair, LOL!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Our original shoot day was scheduled for the day of hurricane Darby.  Obviously, we had to reschedule…the beach is not a place to be during a hurricane 🙁  The day that we rescheduled for was also another overcast, hazy day…but at least it wasn’t raining.  I had my doubts as we sat on the beach prior to our shoot.  It started drizzling, and the wind started picking up.  We held our breath as we started our shoot.  The skies remained overcast and grey, but the wind died down, and it stopped drizzling.  Phew!  Luke and Noah had the cutest little smiles.  Luke had a shy, sweet little smile. He patiently waited for his individual photos at the beginning of the shoot, flashing us his heartwarming smile. Noah was bolder. He gave us smiles with twinkling, mischievous eyes.  He was on the move, and couldn’t wait to hit the water.  His biggest smiles were during action shots; he was thoroughly enjoying himself!  Mom and Dad, thanks for being so flexible with the shoot rescheduling. The skies may not have been blue, but the boys’s smiles lit up our photos.  Who needs the sun anyway?!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Little Kai was the perfect age for his newborn shoot.  We try to get our shoots done within the first 2 weeks of life (ideally, between days 7-10), and he fell into that window.  We were very fortunate, because his eyes were wide open for the family shots, but he slept peacefully for our individual shots.  Mom requested for a “natural/rustic” type of shoot, so we used a lot of wood and vintage props.  I’ve been waiting to use our vintage scale for years!  Kai looked so comfy in it.  I absolutely loved his older sisters, Jadelyn and Taylor!  They made our family and sibling photos so easy and fun  🙂  Thanks for braving the rain, Mom and Dad…it was so great to meet all of you!  Here’s your sneak peek:

It’s Keiso’s turn!  We took photos of Keiso’s older brothers (Ken [10] and Kou [8]) for their Shichi-Go-San (a traditional rite of passage in Japan for 5-year old boys [and 3 and 7 year old girls]). Click HERE to see Kou’s shoot, and HERE to see Ken’s shoot). Keiso was already 6, but we decided to do his shoot anyway  🙂  Keiso gave us the cutest little smiles, elicited with the help of a “dance” performed by his older brothers.  Being the baby of the family, his older brothers were eager to help us make their baby brother smile…and they were quite effective!  Just look at all of those smiles.  Thank you, Ken, Kou and Keiso, for taking instructions so well!  It was so much fun seeing you all again 🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:
