It’s been awhile since I last saw Mom’s family (I think the last time may have been Tyler’s first birthday party!). Thanks for scheduling with us so early, Mom…you are always planning two steps ahead! Sometimes it’s really hard to coordinate schedules for larger family shoots, but luck was with us this time around! The weather was perfect, and the timing worked out for us all. Hopefully, we finished in time for Mom and Dad to make the football game 😉 Can’t believe how much Tyler and Emi have grown over the past year! It was great seeing you all again this year (click HERE for our 2017 shoot)! Hope you all enjoyed your family time together. Here’s your sneak peek:

Our 2018 holiday schedule is full, and we are continuing to schedule for 2019! Thank you for your continued support 🙂
She was just precious! Mari had a sparkle in her eye, and a smile that lit up her entire face. Those eyes…so soulful and expressive. She was also a little trouper. Mom said that she wasn’t feeling well that day. If I remember correctly, I think she had a fever, but still mustered up smiles and laughs for us (believe me, when I have a fever, I’m in no mood to smile or laugh for anyone). Mari obviously had more than enough love for everyone in her family. She loved looking at their faces (probably because everyone smiled back at her…how could you not smile at that cutie?). Thanks for inviting us into your family that afternoon, Mom and Dad! We had a wonderful time 🙂 Here’s your sneak peek:

P.S. Our 2018 Holiday Shoot scheduled is almost completely booked. If you are interested in scheduling a shoot this season, please contact me (we have a few slots available). Thank you for all of your support!!!
Happy belated anniversary Mr. and Mrs. S! We were so honored to finally meet you in person (my parents have such wonderful things to say about the two of you…)! K, you have a gorgeous house, and an even more amazing family! Thank you for inviting us into your home for a warm and intimate shoot with your family. I loved the overall plan for spontaneity, coupled with a few more “formal” family photos (everyone always wants at least one photo where everyone is looking at the camera). I’ve always loved color, and I didn’t realize until I was processing your images, how cheerful your couch photos looked with the infusion so many brightly colored accents. I felt like the smaller accent pillows, magazines and block game really added some vibrancy…which was so appropriate for the kid photos! Our shoot was filled with laughter and energy, and finished off with a family dinner at dusk. Thank you again for your hospitality…it was such a pleasure meeting you all! I mixed some of the “formal” shots with some of the more candid/blooper shots in your sneak peek 🙂

Our client family was back home visiting, and we carefully planned our shoot months before the actual date. We had great weather earlier that week, so I didn’t think we were going to have a problem at all…but as I started driving to our shoot location, it started to rain…hard. As I climbed that steep road, it got to the point where I couldn’t even see the street anymore, because the rain was pelting my windshield. Ugh. Definitely no chance of doing our shoot there 🙁 I have to thank our families for being so flexible. Out-of-town shoots are hard to schedule and coordinate to begin with, and next to impossible to reschedule (we know families are here for a vacation, not to continuously head out to photo shoots 😉 ). It wasn’t raining as hard when I got back down to the bottom of the hill, but the ground was still wet, so our locations were still limited…especially with little ones. We don’t want them sitting and walking in mud! We ended up at a beach…this beach was windy (as it typically is), but at least it wasn’t actively raining, and the ground wasn’t saturated.
The girls did such a great job, especially considering they were riding around in the car for awhile before our shoot. Just look at those cute smiles! Even our furry friend participated (which can sometimes be difficult in the midst of multiple distractions). All in all, I’m so glad that our shoot worked out! Thanks again for being so patient and flexible…it was great meeting all of you!!! Here’s your sneak peek:

She was all smiles…it doesn’t get any better than this! Little Elle’s smile lit up her entire face. How can someone be so happy?! I couldn’t help but smile as I edited her photos…Mom and Dad, you are going to have a hard time picking your photos, because she is smiling in EVERYTHING! Don’t you just want to scoop her up and hug her? Owen, how can you be 3 already? It seems like just yesterday that we did your very first shoot. Click HERE to see Owen’s first shoot. It hasn’t been a year since the last time we saw you, but you have grown so much! Click HERE to see Owen’s 2017 shoot. We hope you enjoy being a big brother. Elle is so lucky to have you as her brother…we know you are going to be a protective big brother as she gets older 😉 It was great seeing all of you again, Mom and Dad! Can’t wait to see you later this year! Here’s your sneak peek:

Lucky little Kelysse, you were born into one of our favorite families! Brooke and Troy have been coming to us for the family shoots for years, and we have fallen in love with them 😉 Troy and Brooke are the best big brother and sister you could have! Baby Kelysse was no exception…she did an amazing job at sleeping! Mom and Dad are always so calm and patient, it rubbed off on their newest addition. I loved her pouty little lips and adorable arm and hand positions. She was just precious…so snuggly and tiny! Congratulations to all of you! Thank you for sharing your sweet angel with us! Brooke and Troy, amazing job as always! I’m looking forward to seeing you for your next shoot this winter 🙂 Don’t grow too fast, Kelysse! Here’s your sneak peek:

It was yet another blustery day. We had to reschedule our shoot because our initial shoot day was awful. It was sunny during the week, but grey skies appeared as soon as the weekend approached. We were on a timeline, because Tristan (4) and Kai’s (2) family were on vacation here in Hawaii, and were planning to catch a flight home the day after our rescheduled shoot. They wanted some beach shots of their family, especially because mom was expecting 🙂 Such an exciting time for everyone!
Tristan and Kai were amazing! They both had the brightest eyes and sweetest smiles. I was surprised at how well they took instruction (especially at the beach, which can be very distracting for little ones). They made our jobs so easy! I hope they had a fun time at the beach…even though it wasn’t sunny. Mom, I felt like I was doing a commercial ad for you. You were gorgeous! Ahh, if only I looked that incredible when I was expecting. Mom and Dad, you have such a photogenic family. I loved your candid family and couple shots! You will have a lot to choose from in your proofing gallery 😉
It was wonderful meeting all of you! I wish I could have brought more sunshine…but at least I didn’t bring the rain 🙂 I hope you all had a great family vacation! Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your newest family member!!! Here’s your sneak peek:

Welcome, baby Mia! Thank you for making me an aunt once again 🙂 Mia, you were definitely worth the wait!!! After a few premature congratulations (thanks to my brother and his dry sense of humor!), we finally welcomed little Mia into the world. She was tiny, sweet, and oh so cuddly! Of course we did a cherry blossom themed shoot (click HERE to see my brother and sister-in-law’s cherry blossom themed wedding). Mia did a great job tolerating all of the props and outfits. Despite warnings that she didn’t like swaddling, she handled it like a pro! Mom, you looked gorgeous…I don’t think I would have known that you even had a baby a week ago, if I didn’t know that Mia was born. I’m so glad you got your malasada after all! Oh, to look so amazing (I wish I knew your secret). My brother was a proud dad…I knew you’d be a great father 🙂 So gentle and nurturing. You never cease to amaze me.
Mia, you are so lucky! You will be surrounded by all things pink, cute, flowery…and most of all, showered with love. Congratulations to the both of you! Mia is a little angel (who is just growing like a weed…I love the photos you are texting to us!). Here’s your sneak peek:

It’s been over a year since we’ve seen Daniel and Dylan, and we couldn’t wait to see them again! The last time I saw them, Daniel was sitting in a little plastic car for our 2016 Christmas shoot with his family (click HERE to see their previous shoot with us). He’s grown so much over the past year, I don’t think he fits in that little car anymore! Dylan also grew (A LOT) since we last saw him. I loved that he liked to put his hand in his pocket and pose for us. It was adorable, and made me laugh as I was editing their photos 😉 I loved their happy energy, and eagerness to impress us with their “playground skills”. It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon (this was another shoot that we had to reschedule a number of times due to bad weather back in December…). So glad we had some blue sky and dry ground for our shoot this time around, Mom and Dad! It was great seeing all of you again, and it was a great way to start off our 2018! Here’s hoping that our next shoot will be equally amazing! Here’s your sneak peek:

The weekend of our last 2017 shoot gave us the worst weather, EVER! In fact, the entire week was awful…rainy, hazy, overcast. I had my doubts that we were going to be able to do our shoot that afternoon, because it started raining on our way over. Fortunately for us, the winds died down, and the showers subsided…just in time for our shoot! It was meant to be! The smiles more than compensated for the lack of sun. We couldn’t have asked for an easier group to photograph, especially considering the number of little ones we had that day! Loved the coordinating attire, and for some reason, I really liked the variation in heights in the group shots. It made the photos so visually interesting and unique. I am so glad that we were able to catch all of you on your family vacation to Hawaii (for those of you that came to Hawaii from elsewhere)! Thank you for spending your afternoon with us, I know you were all quite busy with family time, so we appreciate the opportunity! We hope you enjoyed your stay here (despite the less than desirable weather). Thank you for sharing your wonderful families with us! Here is your sneak peek:
