Meet Baby Rain! Such a beautiful name, for an equally beautiful little girl 🙂 She had petite little features, and tiny little fingers…so dainty! Despite being a little older, she did a great job of staying asleep for our prop shots (Mom, thanks for following our “Parent Instructions” handout…it really helped!). Toward the end of our shoot, Rain decided to open her eyes and check out her surroundings (which made for some sweet eye-open photos). Thanks for driving out to see us, Mom, we’re so honored that we were able to capture Rain’s special moments! Glad that both of you are feeling better! We are now officially a few weeks into our holiday shoot schedule, and we are fully booked! It was almost a year ago that we first met Jasper, the newest member of one of our favorite families! Click HERE to see Jasper’s family’s 2013 holiday shoot with us. Since that time, he’s grown from a cute little jellybean to a walking, smiling and laughing little man. Not only did he down a container of baby food in no time flat, he showed us how a power nap should be done! Mom had a Mickey/Minnie theme for the shoot, complete with personalized “Jasper” Mickey Ears. Not sure how much he liked that hat, you can be the judge of that 😉 Big sis, Jalen, and big brother, Jorel (aka “The Ham”), were able to elicit sweet ear-to-ear smiles from their little brother. Thanks for your help!!! It’s always a plus when older siblings come to our shoots; they usually know just the right moves to make their little siblings laugh. I couldn’t help but stick in one shot of “The Ham” at the end of our sneak peek…who can resist a kid that loves to have his photo taken?! Thanks for driving out to meet us Mom and Dad! Looking forward to seeing all of you in January for your family shoot. Here’s Jasper’s sneak peek:

The ballroom was decked out in greys and yellows. It looked like a little girl’s fantasy world, complete with vintage birdcage centerpieces and a heavenly cookie bar! Guests were treated to delicious cupcakes, a sushi bar and fabulous cookie bar, a variety of balloons (balloons-in-balloons!), glitter tattoos, dress up photos, and hair and nails (for the kids). Emily’s mom hand made 50 personalized bath towels, complete with dainty bird material for the girls, and Angry Bird material for the boys…both perfectly matching the “bird” theme of the party. We can’t believe that little Emily has grown so quickly! It seems like it was just yesterday that she came to us for her newborn shoot (click HERE to see Emily’s newborn shoot)! We are extremely grateful to Mom and Dad for being so wonderful to us. We even had the privilege of meeting Emily’s extended family on a couple of occasions (click HERE to see Emily and Maggie’s recent family photo shoot). We’ve had the pleasure of photographing this special family for four years…thank you so very much for sharing those special years with us. Mom and Dad, what an amazing party! Thank you for a great afternoon!!! Happy Birthday, little Emily! Hugs 🙂 Here’s your slideshow sneak peek:
