Little Cameron is our last newborn for 2015! What a little cutie…he looked exactly like big sister, Kaycie  🙂  Click HERE to see Kaycie’s newborn shoot, and click HERE to see Kaycie’s 2014 shoot.  Cameron was so sleepy for his individual shots, and was so easy to work with! Kaycie was a pro at carrying her new baby brother (it’s one thing for an older sibling to be able to carry their new baby brother or sister, it’s another thing to be able to hold them in a pose that photographs well).  Congratulations, Mom and Dad…it seems like just yesterday we were shooting Kaycie in her newborn shoot!  It was great seeing all of you again this year, may little Cameron have a wonderful first Christmas!  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

The wind was whipping wildly around us, and hair and sand were flying everywhere! Mom and Kailee dutifully had hairspray on their hair (thank you, Mom!)…something I usually recommend for our beach shoots because the wind coming off the ocean can be very strong, but that wind was fierce. Even though it wasn’t raining (we had a very wet fall this year), we apparently had a high wind warning that day (I got the warning on my phone just as we finished our shoot  🙁  ).  If there was ever a family that had to endure this blustery day, this was our family. Kailee was AMAZING! Just like our previous shoots with Kailee, she took instruction well, and gave us her naturally beautiful smile. Click HERE to see Kailee’s 2014 shoot. Not once did she complain about the wind, flying sand or feeling cold. Thank you, Kailee (and Mom and Dad) for being SO patient. Kailee, it was a joy to work with you  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

I was floored when Mom texted me the photo of the hot air balloon prop. I was even more stunned when I found out that she made the prop herself! She even macraméd the cover for the balloon…just amazing!  She said she worked diligently on it every night after Stella went to sleep.  It was beautiful (almost as beautiful as Stella  😉  )!  Click HERE to see Stella’s 6-month shoot. It was great to see Stella’s Grandma and Grandpa, they were such a big help. This truly was a family event!  Stella loved all of the props that Mom and Dad brought for her.  She had fun in her hot air balloon, and she REALLY loved the LED string of lights that Mom, Dad and Grandma kept on pulling out of her mouth, LOL! Thanks so much for a fun shoot, Stella and family! I’m so glad that the weather held up for us (it literally rained up until we started shooting, then rained as we were packing up at the end of the shoot).  Here’s your sneak peek:

We initially had little Devon scheduled for his newborn shoot a week earlier (we schedule newborn shoots within the first 2 weeks of life…with days 7-10 being the ideal days for us). We had to reschedule his shoot for a week later (health of our newborns always comes first), and this time around our little guy was ready for us! He slept like a champ for his individual shots, and tolerated a multitude of outfits and props. Love that Mom and Dad brought their own football themed props (hmm, guess who their favorite team is?)! Big sister, Sophia, was beautiful. She posed like a princess for us while her baby brother was prepping for the shoot. Such a sweetie  🙂  Devon, you did an amazing job (and I really want to pinch your cheeks every time I see your photos!). It was great meeting you, Mom and Dad!  Here’s your sneak peek:

It’s been awhile since we last saw Kaitlyn and Kendall (click HERE to see their previous shoot), and it was so good to see the girls again! Since their last shoot, they both became big sisters to little brother, Kaeden.  In Mom’s words, “3 kids are like, whoa!”  🙂  Each child had his/her own personality. Kaitlyn was mature and sweet, and ready to help us out with her younger siblings (click HERE to see Kaitlyn’s last “solo” shoot).  Kendall was like a firecracker; she was our little gymnast. Kaeden was cautious at first, and later showed us his happy, fun personality.  We had such a great time with everyone…I’m so glad that we were able to get everyone while they were healthy (sometimes, it can be so hard to schedule family shoots with multiple little ones…it’s inevitable that someone will be sick at any given time). Mom and Dad, it was wonderful seeing you all again…and congratulations on your beautiful family  🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

We all saw that smiling, cherubic face a month or so ago. Click HERE to see Moani’s family photo shoot. After the family shoot, Mom and Dad asked if we could also do a child shoot for their youngest daughter, Moani to celebrate her upcoming birthday.  They requested for a white background (our second white background request in a week). Moani looked so sweet in her dainty pink dress. I also loved the primary color outfit that she changed into after the pink dress. She did the cutest hand gestures, clapping and opening/closing her fists while laughing.  I hope you had a wonderful first birthday, little Moani! May all of your birthdays be  equally filled with happiness and joy 🙂  Here’s your sneak peek:

It’s the color trend for Christmas this year…white, black and red…and we love it! Maile wore a tres chic beret for our shoot, and Mav wore the cutest little bow tie. Both kids looked like they came straight out of a children’s magazine, and they were ready for their shoot. Grandma brought her sweet smile, and Mom and Dad brought their “natural charm” (and humor). We always have a great time with Maile and Mav’s family, and look forward to their annual shoot (click HERE to see their 2014 shoot). We wavered over the shoot location (not exactly beach attire), and Mom finally came up with a wonderful suggestion, which worked out great for all of us!  Thanks for a fun and creative shoot, Mom and Dad, it was great to see you again this year!  Here’s your sneak peek:

It was an early morning shoot, and I was impressed that Mom and Dad could get their two boys ready and happy for their shoot. The sun was rising, and we didn’t want it to be too bright for their shoot. They wanted a family shoot against the view below their house (they have an amazing house, with a magnificent view). The boys were matching in their adorable suits…it reminded me of Mikey’s 1 year old shoot (click HERE to see Mikey’s shoot). Click HERE to see Roman’s 6 month shoot with us. I had fun playing with Mikey and his puzzles while Mom and Dad were getting ready for the shoot. Roman flashed us his toothy smile in belly busting laughs 🙂  Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us again, Mom and Dad!  Here’s your sneak peek:

Every once in a while, we are fortunate enough to have a baby that smiles for almost every single shot…and Owen was our little man! He arrived at our studio smiling up a storm, and I was concerned that he was going to “use up” all of his smiles before we started the shoot.  We didn’t have to worry, because Owen flashed his cute dimples for us the entire shoot. He seemed to smile at everything (which bodes well for his temperament in the future), and sat up in his tripod position for us like a champ! I loved the adorable elephant theme, how cute is that knitted hat?! Mom and Dad, Owen has your happy, calm personalities…just a reflection of great, happy parenting  🙂  Thanks for an amazing shoot!  Here’s your sneak peek:

The last time we did a photo shoot with Mia, she was 6 months old! Click HERE to see Mia’s 2010 photo shoot with us.

Since that time, Mia became a big sister to Lily. Loved how Mom stylized her shoot with matching dresses, umbrellas and boots!  She even had a vision in her mind, incorporating the rainy weather outfits and rubber ducks…just adorable!  The girls had fun picking flowers, chasing bubbles, and laughing at their Aunty B (thanks again, B for your help with our shoot–we all couldn’t stop laughing because you are hilarious!).  Mia was such a good listener, and took directions like a champ! Lily was a little cutie who knew what she wanted (which did NOT include her big sister kissing her on the cheek for a sibling shot), how could you resist a face like that?! Thanks, everyone, for driving out for your shoot…we all had so much fun!  Here’s your sneak peek:
