Little did Renyn and Lauryn know that this year, they would be a meal for about a million mosquitos. Poor kiddos, they were covered with mosquito bites within minutes of starting our shoot. In fact, the majority of my post processing for this shoot consisted of Photoshopping out both mosquitos and mosquito bites from Renyn and Lauryn’s arms and legs. They did such a great job of trying to sit still for our shoot…a difficult feat when you are being feasted on. We marched through mud and plant life, trying to get our photos, and we waited so patiently for our turn on the branch of that tree (we got there just in time to have an entire party setting up their tents directly behind the tree). Lots of Photoshopping there too…we had tents, poles, people, coolers, and leaf blowers all over the place behind the kids. Renyn and Lauryn, you did such a great job at staying focused for our photos so we could get them over with (to escape those vicious mosquitos)! It was great seeing you again this year, Mom and Dad!
